Our Mission

We want to remove as many barriers as possible to help as many people as possible reconnect with the great outdoors. Whether it’s a tight budget, lack of equipment, minimal to zero camping experience, accessibility concerns or apprehension about camping, we provide options for everyone.

Our Vision

We engage in activities designed to grow great humans and even better communities (especially in rural places).

Our Values

We invest in resilient and thriving communities by connecting people:

  • to nature through authentic Canadian wilderness camping experiences

  • to place through thoughtful, universally designed recreation spaces people of all ages, stages and abilities can enjoy

  • and to each other by bringing people together in a way that helps them see the world in a new way

We enthusiastically work with partners, charities and non-profits at discounted rates.

Meet the Owners

Are you interested in unplugging from the world? Relaxing and exploring the great outdoors? You’ve come to the right place.

Four Corners Algonquin began with our own desire to experience living a simpler and more independent life in a place with a lot of personal meaning for us. We wanted to invest in a community our family has been a part of for a very long time, and champion how much remote and rural living has to offer in terms of lifestyle, culture, outdoor sport and personal wellbeing.

Four Corners Algonquin is the beginning of a dream 20 years in the making. The property is part of the homestead of grandparents, Pete and Hazel Mask, who in the 1920s settled down to raise a family here when they married . John and Angela purchased the land in 1998 with vague dreams that someday they would start a business. Four Corners opened in 2018, and since then has hosted guests from as far away as Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.

Now, we’d love to meet you! Explore our tents, choose your creature comforts and let us host your own experience enjoying all that the wilderness has to offer.

Such a beautiful place. I love it here and will be back asap. Amazing hospitality. John helped with anything we needed. Easy access to shops, grocery store and restaurants. The washrooms and showers were immaculate. Lots of thick trees and plants between sites.
